could it be canker sores? or is that something different. Consult your physician, especially on anything that you're worried about. They are your best bet in about any situation

when i was growing up we always called them lie bumps but i have gotten them many times and know others who have gotten them too and no harm ever came from them. If you feel you need to get them checked maybe you should. i am not a doctor but i have experienced them before many times.

I get those all the time too, and I think they are just a single infected taste bud. What I do, is swish my mouth with salt water, holding the salt on my tongue. It does hurt a bit, but it dries the sore spot right up by the next day.

this may sound weird, but I get them when I eat concentrated amounts of salt. like when I eat a bunch of sunflower seeds, in the shell using my tongue to open them. that part of my tongue will turn white (after about 2 days) and flake off . I think it is from the salt????. although, my mom used to call them "lie bumps " also!! funny huh?
