Use Jet Dry, and some warm water will definitely remove those water spots. Otherwise, you can use some form of detergent, or some liquid soap that contains some for of oxygen / oxide in it. One thing for sure - key phrase - warm water!

Water spots are caused when the drops evaporate and calcium and contaminants are left behind. The best thing I can think of is CLR. It was made to disolve these type of deposits.
