Confront this loser in public. I can't tell you how important it is to have witnesses or people around in case he wants to do something criminal. If it gets too serious...call the cops.

Contact your local battered womens shelter; they are sure to have some sympathetic lawyers available to assist you.. . Confront him in public, preferably at the courthouse itself. The idea is to have lots of witnesses.
