Why do some months have more days than others?

The length of the months is an arbitrary invention of humans. Look at the names - SEPTember, OCTober, NOVember, DECember = 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th month? Augustus Caesar took a day from FEB to add to AUG when he named AUG after himself.

that's easy, because the calendar is wrong. the true calendar should be 13 months, each 28 days in length. Days should start at zero instead of one. . . check the website:. http://www.perturb.org/display/entry/155
