How can one overcome a prideful upbringing?

I'm in the same boat sweetie . Although sometimes its good to be but most the time its not like sometimes I may really need help but dont ask because of my pride although being less prideful would make it a lot easyier, being prideful makes you stronger . To me its like 50 percent a good thing 50 percent a bad thing.

I think it's ok to be proud of ur accomplishments, but don't let it go to ur head. If u don't wanna be proud anymore, don't be. Just be humble. Be modest. Catch urself everytime u feel ur being prideful

Pride is a sin, and the bible says God loves those who are humble. It doesn't mean you cannot be proud of yourself and your accomplishments, you just have to learn how to be humble about it. I would suggest reading the bible and starting with 1 Peter 5:5-6. Through prayer and bible study, your wish will be granted!

If you do feel superior to people remember we are all the same. sure we make look and talk differently but we all shyt pyss eat sleep and die, and where you might excel in certain areas, there are people who excel in the areas you don't
