no he worded it correctly,. divx is mp4 format with ac3 audio, now if it's not encoded correclty with proper audio rates / video size ( pal verse ntsc ) then it will not playback on dvd player that supports divx / xvid

What you're downlaoding is in mp3 format, and what your divx player plays is mp4. Sorry.
