America got involved in World War I because of the sinking of the Lusitania and the Zimmerman telegram. (Germany asked Mexico to attack the US and Germany promised they could have Texas and California back!)

Although the Kaiser was a Heinie, Heinekens are DUTCH beer. He had no control over them untill he went into exile in Doorn in 1918!Jeese what DO they teach in school these days.
