There is no reason for that except society's insecurities. I am talking about all around, because while I totally agree with you, I get called a cracker way too much... Would be nice for all stereotypes to dissapear because an upstanding black guy and an upstanding white guy, are both good enough to have the respect of others.

Please. First of all I hate to hear this kind of talk. You are sterotyping white people. Maybe you should spend some time North of your border (Canada if you don't know). We are a little more tolerant of minorities.. . It really boils down to fear. Americans fear everything. They fear blacks, they fear Arabs, they fear each other. Fear spawns hatred. If Americans could only relax a bit and stop being afraid all the time, maybe you'd be able to get along.

because of the media, native people are also sterotyped as drunks and noise makers,i know how you feel.think about the source.and not everyone feels that way,i judge folks by their actions not the color of their skin, thank god...

Take a look at the prison population and watch an episod of "cops" and you'll see why we discriminate.

because a few black ppl can make it bad for everyone else. when ever ppl get into arguments with me they assume that i roll my neck and wave my finger.

Can you pleaes explain how upstanding black men have to pay for the sins of black men that do nothing with their lives?. . That sounds very Uncle Tom'ish of you. People will succeed because they WANT to, no matter what socio-economic or cultural barriers they must cross.. . As for the black boy, theives reference, that reflects the ignorance of those that use the term.. . In the news, I hear all the time when describing someone (usually a suspect or victim)reference to their race regardless.

there truly are those that see people equally, and as individuals, please know this. by categorizing people into one stereotype, your doing nothing more than what your asking about. . what would be most positive in society would be to eliminate labelling, judging and or stereotyping on all levels.

I don't know why but I will say that you have to find your place in society, and don't think for one second you are any less than any other race. You are just as strong as any other man and the fact that you have so much potential that you hadn't tapped into yet can be intimidating for some. But you have to take the good with the bad and keep your head up!!!!!
