If I were you, I'd start with an internet business. So much commerce is going on electronically these days that it may not be necessary for you to physically go to the countries where you want to sell your products, or where you want to buy your products, either. Try signing up with eBay to get a feel for the market. And learn everything you can about international shipping, customs regulations, and etc.

American Indian or from India the country? Check with other import/export businesses to see what they did. They love to give suggestions. Visit Small Business Bureau for ideas. Research internet about starting up own business.
