Im no expert but I would assume you would have to send copies (more professional looking the better, grammar, etc) of the books to multipule pushblishers and hope for the best. Good Luck and you never know, I could be buying one of your books for my kids one day. =)

First you need to find an agent, then if the books are any good the agent will find a publisher for you. (oh if the book doesn't catch the eye of the one viewing it in 2 pages - forget it).. . So look for 'Literary Agents', and take it from there, you will probably need about 10 manuscripts to send otu.. . And dont expect to make any money from Book 1, the money is made from the second book onwards.

The very best way to go about this is to attend a children's writers and illustrators convention where you can make an appointment to meet with an agent. A way to get started finding a conference in your area is to Goggle "kite tales" - they are a newsletter for children's writers and illustrators. You'll have to sort through to see if there is one in your area, but it's a place to start.
