What are the steps to self-publish a book with limited funds?

Firstly, you tidy your stories, make sure there are no serious typos, Copy it onto good quality paper, then you write to publishers asking them would they be interested in reading your works (describe them as humorous) don't just send them anywhere, you could lose your work that way. Then wait for reply's. You may get lucky first time and a publisher will buy your stories. Good luck.
