Why do cockroaches appear to raise their back legs when they die?

In my expert opinion, of looking at dead roaches for many..ah ...months, I have noticed that their legs curl up...it is hard to stay standing with yourself in the fetal position. I know of know other reason, it seems if you even step on them, they at least roll onto their sides.

NOT WHEN THEY GET STUCK ON A STICKY TRAP!. THEY DO THAT TO GIVE OFF A FALSE DEAD LOOK TO PREY!. THATS UNITIL YOU ACTUALLY KILL THEM!. THEY PLAY DEAD!
