Why does my cat frequently scratch its ears?

Ear mites! Go to the vet, they will give him his first treatement and show you how to use it! It is only $20 for the medicine to cure it, but you have to know how to use it which is why let the vet do first

You don't usually need for your cat to have an examination for the vet to sell you REVOLUTION. It applys on top of the cat's shoulders and gets rid of ear mites. One vet in town wants to examine the pet first (more $$$ for him) The other sells it without an exam, so just call around. Get two ubes of the REVOLUTION and apply one month apart. that way it gets the unhatched mite eggs.

He probably has ear mites. Take him to the vet ASAP. He may also have an ear infection.

u can go to almost any kind of big stores like walmart and if u look in the pet section they will have medicine for ear mites and it will get rid of it and keep them away so a little while

Could be earmites or an ear infection. If his ears look like they have dirt in them and there is a bad odor, it is probably ear mites, but it is wise to let a vet take a look at them. :)

ear mites just use a connton balls and wipe them out

Is there brown stuff in his ears? IF yes, he probably has ear mites...tiny bugs in his ears that bite him and eat his blood. Take him to the animal doctor (vet) to check.

try to clean out his ears with a Q-tip and if he or she still scratches their ears then take him to the vet
