How can I remove previously searched URLs from the search bar?

From Control Panel select Internet Options then go to History. Click on Clear History and then on the pop up click Yes to clear history. Job done.

Go to Tools on the Menu bar at the top of your internet explorer window. Click Internet options. A new dialog box of internet options would pop up.. Go to Content tab.. Click on AutoComplete.. The AutoComplete Settings dailog box will pop up.. Click Clear Forms and then OK.. Click OK on internet options dialog box.. . The URLs for past searches would be gone.
