How to remove previously used terms from the search bar on the hard drive?

A cool little program i often use is crap cleaner. If will clean all temp files, and internet cache (optionally, internet explorers auto-complete).

When you double click on the box a drop down menu comes down, place your mouse over the one you want to delete and press the delete button no you keyboard. I hope this helps if not post back and i'll see what i can do

Right click Internet Explorer, highlight properties, click on Clear History, also set Days to keep pages in history to (0).. . Also try click start, control Panel & then click Internet Options & fallow the above direction’s, remember to click Apply.. . To clean your recent searches, just click on the Content tab when your in Internet Properties, then click Clear SSL State & click on AutoComplete… And make sure none of the boxes are checked, if they are, uncheck them and click OK.

Go to tools on your ie browser, select internet options, click clear histor, delete files, delete cookies. This should clear it up, without messing anything up.
