no it's just that 14k gold is kinda cheap. next time get 16 or higher. that used to happen to me until i asked my sister(she works at a jewerly store) and she told me that. hope this helps

Mine turn a greenish black color under rings, I've been told it is too much iron in system. I can take the ring and rub it on my arm and it leaves a line. I just leave my rings off for a couple of days it usually clears up quick.
