Why is it that Native American Indians generally don't have much facial hair?

Nat.Amer.have facial hair,the plains Indians plucked them out because the woman did'nt like hairy faces,the Cherokee men used to wear full beards and put beads in them,don't listen to Hollywood.. I know this for a fact and am associated with these people all the time,all twelve of the principle Chiefs of the Cherokee had beard or moustache

Uh, they do have facial hair. My family is native american indian and my brother is like a monkey, tons of facial hair. My other brother though is a babyface. Who knows!

Contrary to popular belief, native American Indians CAN grow facial hair, just not a full beard. Many Indians from the northern regions of North America have been known to grow mustaches or long sideburns to protect their faces from the extreme cold temperatures. It's a genetic trait.
