It would be helpful if you posted some basics about your internet connection. 56k users will be doomed to such happenings, as sometimes "noise" over the connection will cause packet losses. Also, peak internet use times will cause those types of problems.

check your internet connection and firewall settings.

That should mean the server is temporarily unavailable. Often a refresh solves the problem. I guess Yahoo might be expanding their server clusters to accommodate more clicks per day.
