How can I locate my father's military ID number?

If he ws in the service in the last 30 years, it's his SSN (Soc Sec #). If not, it will be in his discharge papers available in public records.

Public records may be on Page Ave in St. Louis Mo. Get 1 800 number from 1 555 1212 and ask how to get them. Some were lost in fire some years ago
