The military has stopped using Military ID Numbers. It's back to just SSN.

You join the military, then you will get a military ID. It's pretty simple.

Military ID's are issued to military personnel ONLY. The only ones authorized to have military ID's are active duty personnel, reserve mil. personnel, retired military personnel, and civilians actually doing work for the military.
