ćuprija is a Turkish origin word. now days it is used mostly in Bosnia or in some parts of Serbia and only for small bridges.

Cuprija is an old fashioned Bosnian word of Turkish origin.. . Most comes from slavic roots

...and it also means "little bridge". (the opposite of large). . (e.g. NOT a bridge over Danube, Amazon, Nile, Thames, etc.; just a small bridge over "local" waters)
