Put an check mark on the email you have received mark as read. and that should do it.. . Hope that helps.. . Good Luck.

Yahoo has a mind of it's own sometimes. I have encountered this too. I have had the icon pop up saying i have mail. and I open my e-mail box to discover nothing new there.. I wish yahoo would get it together and be a user friendly program like M.S.N. LOL

You web browser has cached the web page, do a refresh and it will go away.
