Best answer
Supposedly, it keeps you from doing stupid things by showing you what happens to people who already did them. Lately, that doesn't seem to be working, though.

History is good for learning how things came about and where. History is to teach usour past , present, and fture. I would call history a life skills planner. If you learn about hisor you will learn about the mistakes people before you made.

I see history as trues stories... legends, tales... The greatest of stories in our past-times... passed down from genration to generation... It is important to know history because it tells the story of how you got where you are...
