Because the system is designed to award points when someone answers.. . You do realize, don't you, that you can report someone if you see a truly crazy answer to a question...where it is obvious that the person in question was just going for points (as I noticed earlier today when someone would just enter one letter for an answer)??? This is the only way that we can help Yahoo! Answers keep up with the more stupid or harmful questions or answers that come up.. . Good luck!
