You can send them a breath o gram. Its an anonymous email saying that they have bad breath! It’s free, you just type in the person's email and they will get a message saying they have bad breath!

i like the tic tac answer. Maybe offer them gum while getting yourself some, or strike up a convo about your recent trip to the dentist, and tell your coworker how the dentist lectured you for not flossing, which leads to bad breath (aka, halatosis). Tell your CW that you never knew the two were related at all....stuff like that ought to get him/her thinking about oral hygeine a bit more.

If you want to give hints, offer him/her a piece of gum or breath mint every time your in contact. they will get the hint. ive always felt honesty is the best way. unless its your boss, then your up a creek without a paddle. I dont think there is any way nice to say it really. but subtle hints will work every time.
