How can I kindly inform someone that their breath smells bad without offending them?

offer them a mint everytime you see them and don't offer it to anyone else around. they will get the hint, believe me. I did this and the girl said, "does my breath stink or something" and i said yes, as a matter of fact it does. I never smelled it again.

Without hurting their feelings? Really. You can't do it without hurting their feelings, so just be extremely straightforward. This is what I did to fellow royalty:. "Yo, man, get a Tic-Tac. You breath is like an alligator's!" Coincidentially, he was an alligator, which made matters worse. Now he doesn't speak to me anymore but do I care? No. I've got General Koopa and Kammy to talk to.

1) I'de offer them a breath mint if you have one.. 2) You'de be surprised how many people don't know they have bad breath and they need a kind person to kindly tell them they do so they can fix it( don't tell them in front of other people that could make the person imbarrassed).

I think the best method is just to come right out and tell them. Most people don't know when they have foul breath. I know I don't, and thankfully, my hubby will tell me so I don't embarass myself!

Act as if u r smelling a bad smell and if enquires U say U don't know where's its coming from.

Sometimes you cannot avoid hurting their feelings. I believe it is best to be straightforward about it. You can say something like, "Hey, (insert name), I don't want to sound rude, but I thought you might want to be warned before you (insert activity here - ie: go talk to the manager, teacher, etc.) Your breath is not at its freshest."
