Why do medical professionals wear light blue or green scrubs in the operating room instead of red or white?

I think the green "scrubs" are supplied by the facility and as a result the idea was no-one would want to steal the hospital clothing. It's not working BTW.

Green is said to be the most soothing color.It is said to ease pain.In contrast red represents danger and also if red cloth was stained with blood how would one know it!!!

cause during the operation blue and green when they mıx wıth the blood whıch ıs the red color ıt becomes more darker and ıt does near black and they do not reflect blood and ıf they had worn whıte ıt would reflect the red color of blood durıng theoperatıons that are not anestahesised as a result that the patıent may be dısturbed of who has a phobıa of blood

It depends on the hospitals' protocols. Different hospitals have different colors for different things/places.
