Haven't you seen, Dr.Know. He did a study proving that gum chewing increases brain fuction and concentration.. . American's aren't stupid, just young.

These are Alien Clones. They are programmed to do this. It enables an electric charge to be maintained in their brains. This is what keeps them animated. It's discreet, but ingenius. . . If they stop chewing, they'll drop over dead.

I'm an American and I do chew a lot of gum but only when I'm working. The reason? I am a Chemical Lab Tech and I work in a very dry environment. We are not allowed to have food or drink in the area for good reason (chemical contamination) so rather than feel uncomfortable with a dry mouth and throat all day long I will chew gum.. . I always take care to properly dispose of it by wrapping it in a tissue before I put it in the garbage.
