Best answer
Downlaod an extractor, unziper, w/e, program like suffit, and open it like you would a zip file. I don't know if it is a coincidence or not though but I have never recieved a HQX file that is not a virus.

HQX is a Macintosh BinHex 4 Compressed Archive. You can open it on Mac

These are Macintosh BinHex format files. Mac files are a bit different (and annoying) in that they have a resource fork and data fork in their files. They convert them to Hex format to preserve these across different OS's that are used to dealing with straight binary files like Dos/Windows/Unix. To "UhHex" one you'll need something like Stuffit (They make a Windows version too).
