.zm9 is a zonealarm format. Seems to be a typical zip file, so something like winrar would work to view contents. Most likely it needs opening directly in zonealarm.. . If an attachment on an email, could be a virus.

It is most likely that your .zm9 files have been created by Zone Alarm (do you have Zone Alarm installed?). If so, they are just .zip files that have been renamed (no one is really sure why...). Just rename them .zip and you will be able to open in a .zip reader.
