It's time for a visit to your dentist You can brush 24 hours a day and still miss what a dentist can get at with his tools. Also, you might be brushing improperly. Tell your dentist this problem and let him have a look.

You should see your dentist, it sounds like you may have some infection and you need to take care of it with antibiotics. You also probably need a good dental cleaning and home care. They should give you hygiene instructions so at home you can take care of your gums. Brushing before bed and flossing also helps.

You should get a softer toothbrush, you may be brushing too hard. Also, you can swish with super cold water that may relieve some of the swelling.

Hi,. Puffy gums could be a sign of infection, disease or even an allergic reaction to something. Please make an appointment with your dentist. If your dentist can not figure out why you have puffy gums, then you have to go to your family doctor. In the meantime, until you get to your dentist, brush and floss everyday and use a good mouthwash, one that does not contain alcohol. Please do not use hydrogen peroxide, it can make your gums worse!!! Good luck.
