Right-click on the folder icon.. select Properties. click the Sharing tab.. click "make this folder private.". or, you could make this a hidden folder.. In Properties, click the box for "hidden.". When you want to open that folder, you will have to click View, Hidden folders.. . Seems like a pain. . . Side note: You might want to pay more attention to your spelling.

Get and encryption program. A good free one is TrueCrypt (downloadable from pcworld.com). This will allow you to make the folder invisible until you enter the password into TrueCrypt.

Microsoft had put out a My Private Folder option to XP but stopped allowing downloads because it doesn't work with Vista. At least that is what I've heard.. . I do have a copy of it. It is 1.5Mb and I will email it to you if you email me so I can send it to you as a reply w/attachment to your email.. . It puts a My Private Folder icon on the desktop or you can simply delete the icon and just launch it from Start > Programs. It also shows an unlocked padlock on the task bar if you have opened the folder. It requires your password in order to open it. To close the folder you simply right click on the padlock icon on the task bar and select "Lock My Private Folder". . . Again, if you want it, email me and I'll send it along to you.. . Hope this helps.

Try go to download.com and type "password protect folder" to search.. . It will give you some result.. . I heard that Microsoft got it's own products for this (for XP+ only), but I can't remember the name.
