How can I unlock a computer that is locked or password-protected?

if its a desktop you can try: open the tower and there is a lil battery and the power cord remove it for like a minute, one minute! not 15 sec. and replace the battery and power cord and turn it on you should be able to get in

I honestly don't think there is a way around this unless you can rember the Administrator password. However, I have onced purchsed a hacking / password breaker from EBay.... never used it yet so can not tell iuf it truly works, but you might want to give it a look. . . Know that might not be what u wanted to hear, but do wish u luck.

Thats' the beauty of Xp....if you don't know the admin password or have a username/pw , you're s out of luck.

Try going on safe mode. Normally the owner of the computer never goes on safe mode and click on administrator. Boot your computer and go on safe mode. You will see your log in pass and there you will see administrator. You can log in there and try to change the password of your account by going to control panel and clicking on User. There you can make a new one.. Theres always a way!
