Stress & low body weight can disturb or stop you cycle completey. It doesn't sound like you have low body weight, if your doc has put you on meds. Your cycle should start in a week or so, every woman's body & genetics are different.

If you changed your exercise routine or diet, that can affect it. Also, if your life has been through a major upheavel recently then the stress can affect your cycle as well.

If you are this concerned I would call to schedule an appointment to have a complete exam, it could be something going on inside your body. If cost is a concern you could call your local health department, they have sliding scale fees, this means you pay a lower price than a doctor's office.
