Why does my cat not react or chase a mouse even though it's nearby?

cuz it ain't hungry. or else. it'll be gruesome, blood all over the house. mouse guts on the ceiling. yeah you don't wanna see a cat in action. changed my life. now i don't eat rodents.

I think, your cat is sympathetic to your little mice, and also adores your mice, which is why he doesn't attack the mice. For example, we as humans eat fish, but we don't go and eat the fish thats in our fish tank, because we feel sympathy for them, and we adore them.

this are the modern type of cats they like 2 be pampered and spoiled chasing rats is now out of fashion 4 them they preffer 2 b the lion or the lioness of the house(its the in thing 4 them).my cats also does the same thing(but we dont have a lot of rodents in our house though) they bought just sit in the house.

sometimes cat just don't feel like going for the chase over a mouse he had rather watch you do the work in catching them or screaming over the mouse sometimes this can be enjoying to them or it can be that he just does'nt have a taste for rodents just get mouse trap just becareful that your cat isn't curious around it " curiosty did kill that cat ,but, satisfaction broughtit back"

all cats are good mouse hunters butt not all cats are the same picter garfeild he dosint chase mice becuz he dosent like to the mice are his freands, mice dont tast that good you know thay just chase them somtimes becuz its thare natrule instint.. just be pashint he'll get them soner or later and if he dosint big deal at lest you whont have to worry about wakeing up in the morning to a pile of dead mice on your bed.

maybe this cat is lazy or tiered but he may be discomferted if u jus got it u may have 2 trace the previous owners so they can see wats wrong or give the cat somthing that reminds it of them.or it could be he jus doent want 2 do it because u don't have any thing 4 him 2 play with or hes just lazy.
