Republican values have little to do with sex. Republican values deal with (or should) fiscal responsibility and hard punishment for crime and strong defense of the nation. Lately the clowns in office have failed at all three which is why they lost the majority. Rush, from what I have heard has left the Republican party due to their lack of values. Sexual matters are not political matters until they interfere with responsibility or take place in public office. Sex is a cultural thing with values determined by the populace as a whole. Some try to make it political due to a misunderstanding of the Bible.
