You said the person who initiated the complain is dead, well there is no complain.. . Best take a lawyer and have court vacate the case. That way you are cleared for sure.. . Actually you may not need to do anything in certain case depends on the details of the case.

My dear, perhaps you are talking about Negotiable Instrument Act of India.. . But your question is not very clear.Can you elaborate what cause of action arose and a little about the case history ?. . I think the legal heirs will have to be brought to the case.
