Box Car Children has always been my favorite, love the way these children found away of survival, and I think it has helped me with my survival through out life. Yes, it is a child's book, and it has always stood out in my mind through out all my growing up, and have encouraged my children to read it and to their children as well.

One of the first books I ever read called "To Tame a Land" by Louis L'Amour. It was a western and the teacher showed a boy how to. shoot straight and fast and also told him to read. Plato 5 times. In the end he meets up with the. teacher in a shootout and wins because he says. I only read Plato 4 times.
