How can I safely return a dog I took without permission?

ok first off if i knew where u lived i would call the cop but just amagin when you where little and you came home and your pet was gone u would want to die right so take it back and tell the truth and u get in trouble its fine but at least you were onest and when you go home you will fell like you did a god thing....

put the dog back in the their yeard (tie him/her up if it's not fenced in) or knock and say you found their dogg then stop stealing other ppls pets if you a dog adopt one form the aspca

Omg r u serious? Well depending on why u stoled it in the first place - if the dog was being abused bring it to your local shelter or for no reason at all just bring it back to the owners. The owners would probably be grateful to get their dog back.

Why did you steal it, why are you returning it?. . If it is guilt and fear of getting caught, take the pup to the persons front door and tell them you found him/her wandering.

keep it its your bad for stealing it...or take it back and say you found it...if it has tags...put it back the way you took it...smart guy!!

just take it back and say you found it but then they may wonder how you knew it belonged to them unless you know them. if thats the case just leave the dog on there front porch and let them find it and stop stealing the bible says thou shall not still.everyone makes mistakes but its its god if you learned a lesson from your mistake.and not do it gain may god bless you

Stealing a Dog?????. . Well, even if you did something really, really wrong you should still get some props for trying to return it. Tell the owners of the dog (which are probably worried sick) that you found the dog wondering around the neighborhood.. IF the owners saw you, I can only say good luck. Also, don't steal anymore dogs. They are really loving animals.
