What factors contribute to women being more talkative?

You mean all those Chatty Cathys? Ha ha ha.. Actually, there's a good write up about this in the book "Men are from Mars, Women from Venus". Seriously, the author analyzes some of these habits of women, such as their need to build consensus, seek advice and validation from their friends, and, the worst, they need to be the "Fix-it" committee when it comes to men.

Because most women are emotional beings and like to express their feelings & thoughts with words more rather than just holding it in.

Why are we women so talkative? HMMMMM........I guess it's the same reason that most men will look 2 hours for the remote rather than getting up and turning the channel by hand. It's our porogative, lol.

I think you are making a HUGE sweeping generalisation. Not all women are talkative. Women are individuals.. . perhaps you have a lot of talkative women in your life. Perhaps you particularly notice talkativeness in women.. . Why are men so misogynistic?
