Being an artist is having a lifetime of learning. A short course won't do. Get a model and start painting for the rest of your days.

The web is an amazing art resource. Here are some of the links I've used to learn about Impressionism: . http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/glo/impressionism/. . http://www.spa3.k12.sc.us/WebQuests/Impressionism/ (I especially liked this one). . http://www.impressionism.org/. . Just do various searches, such as "art course", "art history", painting, etc.

Your local library would have a good source of information on this subject. :-)
