Why are women often depicted as the villains in historical narratives?

Just like the saying that the victors write history, it is men who have traditionally been the members of society allowed to write -- whether it was the Bible or dramatic arts, novels, or more recently, films and television. Call it the old boys network, or whatever you like, the obvious foil in such instances is women. As more and more women write, direct, and create, I think you'll see a more even-handed approach, and more men being depicted as the villains.

simply put, in modern and only recent human history, men pulled a ku against female authority and subjugated women. In order to. justify this, women have to be diabolized. Its a logic circuit stemming from the patrifocal religions and the idea that women should be the property of men. Women are diabolized because. otherwise there wouldn't be a justification for that.
