How can I prevent a neighbor's cat from entering my yard?

As soon as you see their cat frighten it, squirt it with the hose. they hate water. I have a problem with keeping my cat off the fly screens as he chases geckos and i find water works a treat, but you must catch them off guard.

Well, a .22 to the head would probably land you in jail for discharging a fire arm within city limits.. . Poisoning it would be the same.. . Call the city animal control officer and have it trapped?. . Get a dog?. . If you can, spray it with ammonia?

Sprinkle chilli powder or pepper around a bit.

sharpen the fence then place any kind of thorny plants on the landing spot of the cat if it jumped oer the fence
