the Freudian explanation would be "the Oedipus complex " that he claims to be within us from the very beginning of our lives..that could be the reason why we try to find our life mates to match our father/mother profile .my case is a textbook one. i look freaking scary like my husband 's mother , not physically , character wise .

I feel that we take our same sex for granted.......I mean a man dont really take good care of a boy and a woman doesnt care well for a girls needs. And these kids sense this so they are attached more towards other sex.. Also girl may want her father more out of curiosity also, since he has a different kind of body, voice etc. that her. Same with a boy.

Yin and Yang. Opposite attracts. Female and male. Boys can learn some femininity from mom so make him a well balance person. Hopefully, he would make an understanding mate for some lucky gal. Same said for girls to dad.

two opposit poles attract, its realy paradoxical bt it happens tht ur father fulfils al d wants of ur sister nd loves her a lot bt i would nt say more than u, Coz parents dnt knw hw 2 diffrentiate they just knw how 2 love, neways a mother is always expectant of smomething frm her children mostly frm her son nd thus loves him a lot. nd god gives our parents ths feeling of loving us most because then their is equality nd distinguishing... God Blesss....
