Find the things you enjoy either separately or together and join some clubs - a bowling league, poker night, ballroom dancing, gourmet cooking classes - whatever you like. When you join these activities you will keep yourself occupied even if you don't make new friends, but meeting people that enjoy the same things as you do will no doubt end up in new friendships. :)

Like anything else u get out tere and make friends. If ur in2 it u can try a swing club, you'll meet lots of friends there

Socail evenst are great for couples to amek freinds.art shows, or theater evenst are good too. They put you in environments where you aer likely to meet someone with your same interests.

Find an activity that you both enjoy doing, and get involved. You'll meet people with similar interests.

go to church.that's what we did after my 60 yr old sister died in sept and 4 mo greatgrandson in dec and 32 yr daughter died in jan.god has helped us meet other couples to talk to and get on with life even when we still have 4 sons and 9 grandchildren,one is with us to raise[daughter's child]who is a 10 yr old grandaughter.we do our best and thankful we have her.things will get better.takes time to find the things to do with each other.go on a vacation.and love each other.we are in our 60's and know life is too short as we have found out in last 6 mo.bless you.
