If you want a medical opinion I would consult a doctor and get a prescription for diuretics. I have always found that if I drastically reduce my salt intake and drink warm lemon water in the morning it works somewhat to cut down on the swelling. If you drink a lot of soda pop that could be part of the problem too.

Sometimes weight often factors in this problem. My doctor states that reduced salt in a diet (salt is a water rention chemical in our bodies), maintain a healthy weight. First and foremost see your doctor.
