Both are big-box retailers with many problems. However, generally speaking, Target does rank higher in terms of overall ethical performance when placed next to Walmart.

Target has really improved over the years. The management style has gotten better and they are really trying to make what they are selling fit into style and affordability for families today. . . Wal-Mart is lacking in all areas and it seems like they are just trying to get more stores out there and they are not concerned with quality or customer service.
