Midnight. It shows that man can only be what he chooses to be: a superior, intellingent being, or a grovelling animal. This book proves that, although endowed with reason by God, it is up to every one to use it, or to devolve. And that puts the lid on the theory of evolutionism, I guess.

"Lightning". I'm a time travel nut, but the problem is that I really nitpick about details. lightning does an excellent job of depicting a fascinating time travel with interesting characters, and great settings. the story is excellent, and it's just in general a book worth reading:). sirius

Odd Thomas. I can't explain it, but there's something about the book that I adore. That, and it's the first book of his where the ending actually surprised me. His others, I usually had a sense of what was coming. Odd Thomas just came out of left field at the end. Wow.. . The sequel, unfortunately, I did not like quite as much.
