If you know what carrier the cellphone uses, go to their website. Sometimes they let you send a text message to a cell number on their homepage.

I think you just go to the website of the cell phone provider and they usually have an option of sending messages to your phone.

through GSM modem,. there is wireless protocol using that we send data to modem from PC which takes it to receiver of cell phone having same protocol it receives .

if your talking about text messages you can find some free text messengers by googling free text message or something
