How can I send a text message to a cell phone without using instant messaging apps?

if your phone company has an text messaging site on their website like mine do SUNCOM, then u can send it like that. Or if u are using your phone and know the cell number just send one the old fashion way through texting the message, but check with you cell phone company online and see if they have that feature online to send to a cell phone. I love doing it to my husband that way he always gets my messages.
